Do you love animals?
That's easily the number one thing all veterinary technicians have in common.
But there is more to becoming a registered veterinary technician than the love
of animals. You must have good communication skills, have a good understanding
of science and math and be able to work hard and think fast in stressful situations,
such as a veterinary emergency.
Do you want to know how you can become a member of the IVTA?
It's easy! If you are a registered technician in the state of
Indiana, you are eligible for active membership. If you are out
of state or not a registered technician, you are still eligible for
membership, but can not hold office. The IVTA welcomes veterinary employees who are not RVT's as Associate members.
Please fill our our membership application and become involved TODAY!
