International Business College, Fort Wayne

The Vet Tech Institute at International Business College in Fort Wayne opened its doors in the spring of 2006.  Classes of 25-35 students are started three times per year in March, July and September.  Sessions are split into 8 week terms, and the 18 month program ends with an 8 week externship where students apply their hands-on skills in local veterinary hospitals.  Upon completion, the students are awarded an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technician degree (AAS).  Job placement assistance is offered after graduation.

The Vet Tech institute provides a place to learn where you won’t spend the entire day sitting at a desk. You’ll get to work side-by-side with our on-staff veterinarian.  Plus, an on-site kennel offers hands-on experience with many different animals.

The staff include:
Dr. Neal Villanueva – Program Director
Dr. Paul Clemente – part-time instructor
Kristin Husband, BS, RVT – Program RVT and Kennel Manager
   Emily Dill, RVT – instructor
   Lindasue Gifford, RVT – instructor
   Patty Howey, RVT – instructor
   Jennifer Riley, RVT – instructor
